Aria Notifications Not Working? How to Fix iPhone Reminder and Alarm Alerts
Key answer If Aria notifications are not arriving, first check that notifications are allowed for Aria in iPhone Settings → Notifications, and that no Focus is blocking Aria. For a task that must ring even in silent mode or a Focus, set it to a Must-ring alarm and it will ring like an alarm.
Try these in order
- Check that notifications are allowed On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Aria, turn on Allow Notifications, and make sure Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners are on too.
- Check your Focus A Focus such as Do Not Disturb can make notifications pile up quietly. Go to Settings → Focus and add Aria to that Focus’s allowed apps.
- Check Scheduled Summary If Aria is listed under Settings → Notifications → Scheduled Summary, alerts arrive together at set times. Remove Aria to get them right away.
- Check the task’s reminder At the bottom of the task screen, look at the due and reminder section. Make sure the reminder is on and the date and time are right.
- Check alarm permission for Must-Ring A Must-ring alarm asks for alarm permission the first time you use it. If you did not allow it, tap Turn on alarms in Settings in Aria. With alarm permission off, it rings as a regular notification instead.
- Check location permission Arrival and departure alerts need location permission. If you already declined, change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Aria.
- If it still fails, tell us Update Aria to the latest version. If it still happens, send support your device type, iOS version, app version (Settings → Info → Version) and the time you were expecting the alert.
If you turned off AI notifications, do task alerts stop too?
No. Even with notifications from the AI turned off, the task reminders, event alerts and location alerts you set yourself still arrive. If those are not arriving, check your iPhone settings in the order above.
